Crappy QB, plus run first offense, plus playing in the SEC... think you are mistaken.. those are good stats amigo.

Jeffrey had 88 catches, 1517 yards, 17.2 avg, 72 long, 9 TD in 2010... those are average?? lol

Also, Blackmon plays in a pass happy offense that saw it's QB pass 511 times in 2010 and has already passed 92 times in the first two games this season!. Jeffrey on the other hand had an offense that passed about 370 times in 2010, and has only passed 24 times the first game.

You sir, clearly don't know what your talking about.

This guy has been productive as hell too. More TD's that Jeffrey. So his avg yards aren't like jeffrey's but that's ok.

Ryan Broyles, WR OKLA 131Catches 1622Yards 12.4ave 81long 14TD's

Garcia is a crappy QB? Ok...but please, tell me who the OSU QB is? He's not even a Top Talent QB and Blackmon produces more.

111 Catches 1782 Yards 16.1 AVG 81 Long 20TDs in 2010.

Compared to Blackmon he's pretty pedestrian. Yet your defense is the QB? Oh and Blackmon plays in a pass happy offense? You're grasping straws imo.

By pedestrian I mean he's average. Pretty average. You're trying a little hard to defend Alshon, makes me wonder if you're a gamecock fan. I don't care what you say, to me he's going to be average and over hyped. Unless he has a Blackmon type season this season I'll continue to believe there are better WR out there outside of Alshon Jeffrey. I'm not dismissing his Size or some of the amazing catches he's had. I just don't believe he's the #1 WR right now. Or even last year. IF we draft a WR #1 next year, I would prefer Blackmon over Jeffrey.

Shouldn't he be the best since he's in the SEC? I don't believe in that crap either. Arguably the best receiver in the NFL is from PITT a non SEC school.

You sir, don't know what you're talking about. :yesnod:

Well if you've watched any College football coverage anywhere at all you would know that Brandon Weeden was praised the entire off-season as being an incredibly competent QB who can throw. Also you don't think being in a pass happy offense help bring more TD's catches and yards? When you can't run the ball in the redzone, you got to get it in there somehow, and what better way than passing?

Broyles needed 50 more catches to get just 100 more yards than Jeffrey, he's not even in the conversation as the best WR in college football, If you looking at broyles as a number on and not Jeffrey then there are some problems there.

You can ignore Jeffrey all you want, but by draft talk next year he will be regarded as the best WR in the draft by far.

Another hypocritical response from IvantheFraud.

You just liked Alshon because you're biased to South Carolina! Oohh I hate that SEC! can't praise a player from that conference! I know! I'll spew out blatantly inaccurate jibberish!! Alshon is average!! Yeah!! Take that!!

What? No! You can't call me out on my own hypocrisy! Take another insult! I refuse to address all the facts proving me wrong! They just can't be true!

lol.

    • We won 5 with the worst defense in the history of defenses.  I think free agency and our draft puts us over 6.5.
    • Leaning towards just ordering this tonight, but now I have no idea on size. Has anyone bought a bunch of jerseys in the last few years and can convey how the Game vs Limited vs Reebok versions all fit? These are both Mediums... The white one here is a Reebok one from 2010, and was when they had the "+2 length" on the tag and it was the version with the stitched numbers instead of iron on... the blue one is from 2022 and is the F.U.S.E Limited version also with stitched stuff, not the "game jersey" with the ironed on numbers/letters that they have the T-Mac jerseys in. The old one fits me fine, the blue one was always a tad snug on me, particularly in the shoulders I'm leaning going with a Large based on the CMC, but for all I know, that is made with a tighter cut due to the higher "limited" level and the "game" ones they have for T-Mac are cut more like a T-Shirt and thus will fit more like the old white one I have here, not sure. (and yes, I already tried going to a sporting goods store here to hopefully try on a Lions jersey to see, but they don't have any right now)
    • I think there's a ton of potential in that WR room. But they really are unproven right now. Hopefully they live up to the hype.
