noooo.....no, flowers don't make up for that. gonna take a lot more to make up for that.

might be insignificant to you.....I like getting flowers. If getting a nice message or knowing they are thinking about you is insignificant...then so be it.:)

One of three things WILL happen:

A) He is going to try to get some after the date. He gets it, he's hooked (or he runs. Him being a Falcons fan, he might just hit and run).

B) He is going to try to get some after the date. You shut him down, he's out the next morning before you know it.

C) After being shut down, he becomes obsessive, lusting after your body and thinking of every possible way to get it naked.

I am with Zod. This is going to end badly. Flowers within two months? My girl didn't get poo for about 6 months (minus Christmas and birthday, obviously), and that was because I just felt like it. We've been together 5 years.

I usually tend to save giving someone flowers until after I fug up. It is my get out of jail free card. If I give a girl flowers on the first date when I inevitably fug up the niceness of giving her flowers again will be seriously diluted.

Then I would have to give her jewelry and that poo is too expensive.

Funny story. Dropped some flowers and a cheesy card in my girl's car a few years ago. She was complaining about a year ago that I don't do anything random like that for her anymore. I asked what she would like then, she says a puppy. We argue for a week. She gets seriously mad. I go buy her a puppy...a stuffed one. Give it to her. Yeah....that didn't end well. Didn't get any for a month. She did keep the stuffed puppy, though. Calls it "pity puppy."

The point of the story? IDK, I guess just find somebody who will let you fug up as long as you're funny about it.
