Okay, on this flowers thing, since it keeps coming up and people keep playing the creepy/desperate card...

Had the date already been made when the flowers were sent?

If so, it seems more or less normal to me.

If not, then it seems cliché and/or somewhat socially inept at the worst.

For the record, I've never sent flowers to a woman, just because it seems cliché- something I generally try to avoid.

there is a type of guy who you can tell 50 times you're not looking for anything serious and he'll be the 1st one to take "I need to find myself first" to mean "If I wait 6 months, she'll come around to the idea.."

This is true, but the same can be said for women, though. This has happened to me on a few occasions, especially when I was younger. It seems to be a common strategy among passive/aggressive types.

The flowers were sent after the date was set, but he seemed a lil upset that I was going out with someone this weekend, .............RED FLAG.......so I had to break it down for him, lol, don't know if he will call back or not. Don't know if that falls under creepy and desperate but definitely falls under possessive and that is not happening.........
