I could see Jordan Senn as a dark horse getting one on special teams. He does a great job there.

I think Baker has a leg up on Senn. (no pun intended) This is Baker's 7th year here and he's consistent.

True, but I think it would be better for Cam to prove himself as a leader in the regular season before handing him over the Captain patch. That's something that should be earned.

I mean pick out any bright spots in the pre-season other than Week 1? but if we have to i'd say Smith, Beason, Olsen, Johnson probably Gamble.

It's not about brights spots for the fans, its about players that earn enough respect in the locker room to be voted captain.

I'm a big Sherrod fan too, and I would love to see him as captain, but I just feel there are too many bigger "leaders" on the defense, but then again we don't know how they are in the locker room and film rooms.
