hah nothin to be nervous about....if you guys are talkative on teh interwebz, you will be talkative in person...

takes a couple mins to get used to but once you do, it kinda feels like you have known each other IRL

if he doesn't have you laughing within 10 mins....run. run far and run fast.

Thanks Boo, and he does make me laugh all the time on the phone and facebook............so I hope he is really how he seems to be and that he looks like the pics I have seen........... my cousin talked to a guy on the internet and when they finally met he was about a foot shorter than he told her and looked nothing like his picture,

Thats me!! I might need a practice date after twenty years, lol, I am way past nervous............

Yes, don't be nervous (as others have told you). I was married 17.5 years (divorced that long now), and while it wasn't totally easy, it wasn't bad to get back out there. Now, though ... still single/non-committed (mostly by choice), it's a little different because of my age and body type.

A couple of years ago, some friends suggested a guy to me, and with my permission gave him my number. We had a nice telephone conversation, in which (among other things) I mentioned that I hate buffet restaurants. Guess where he took me on our first date ... yep, a humongous buffet restaurant. Then, he proceeded to tell me all about his problems with his adult son, which were ridiculous ... all between his dozens of trips to the various food stations. I ate a salad, period. Then, he wondered why I didn't want to go out again.

BTW -- My daughter (26) met her boyfriend via the internet (Match, I think). He was totally honest, exactly what he described, and they are near perfect for each other. I'm very happy with her choice. (He treats me and my mother with a huge amount of respect. A must!) His only fault, so far, is that he's a Steelers fan ... but he was on his best behavior at the game.

Fug that guy.

What you really need is a middle aged married photographer that enjoy climaxing right away then getting some shut eye.

oh if you have talked on the phone then you are golden as far as conversation goes......only need to worry about the looks....but with facebook these days its kind of hard to lie about those things and get away with it.

only time will tell, but I have a feeling you guys will have a blast

Just make sure he knows The Falcons suck and we are coming for them and you can't wait to see Matt Ryan and their entire defense collapse in on itself this year!
