Well, as I see it, the number of times Considine will be cut is equivalent to the number of plays he quit on in the preseason by my count.

As for Butler - does anyone know why he was released? Was it contract, or just performance? Maybe both?

I don't exactly look at this guy as the missing piece to us winning multiple Superbowls, but he is young, cheap, and at the minimum as good as most of the guys we already have outside of Gamble. Absolutely a quality pickup.
