Just heard the Rivera interview on Sirius.. When asked about the possibility of bringing in new guys at CB and DT he replied with: We like who we have on defense but even if we did bring someone in, they could not make an immediate impact this week. BTW Rivera is much better than Fox with the media!

This isn't Hurney's decision all in all, Hurney asks the coaching staff what they think of him, and the staff will review film etc. And tell Hurney if he should be claimed.

Just for general interest, his salary this year is $582,000, so the cap hit would be next to nothing, as any player we release will be paid close to this figure.

In the case of Considine, he is probably making more than this already.
