David Garrard Anyone?

If the Panthers for some odd reason chose to sign Garrard, they would have the distinction of proclaiming two very uncommon things.

1. They have two Pro-Bowl Quarterback's.

2. They have two of the worst Pro-Bowl Quarterback's in NFL History

Off the top of my head the only team that has two Pro-Bowl Quarterback's on their roster is Philadelphia in Michael Vick and Vince Young.

I see no discernable difference in Anderson or Garrard, at least from a value standpoint. I thought Anderson played pretty decently in pre-season, and he's been with this team for six or so weeks at this point and should have a much better grasp of the playbook than Garrard.

That said, I'd take him over Clausen in a ******* second.

If this was during training camp, I'd say go for it. But it's too late. We've already committed to Cam.

you guys realize Garrard is coming off a season with 23 TD's/15 INT's right? he wouldn't be a backup, he could start and would improve the team drastically. it'd be the right move to let Cam sit on the sideline and work on his issues while Garrard lead the team.
