that isn't the point.

I won't waste time explaining it to you, as facts mean nothing on the huddle.

translated.....I don't have a fuging clue what I am talking about so I will just sling another worthless insult.

Thanks for not disappointing us with yet another epic fail.

I'd love him as a backup, but think he wants to start. Probably will go to the Redskins, Browns, or Seahawks.

Nostradamus bitches!!!

The agent for free agent QB David Garrard says he's already been contacted by three teams.

He refused to reveal whom, however, and also said Garrard isn't likely to make a quick decision. The Seahawks remain the odds-on favorites for Garrard's services thanks to his history with QBs coach Carl Smith and Tarvaris Jackson's horrific preseason, but the 49ers have arguably as great a need.

Read what the players are saying about him. Mercedes Lewismade a point to say there is no drop off between him and LM, others said there was no confidence in Garrard so there was no confidence to lose, the offensive line was letting him get hit after being attacked by Garrard in the media, our coach and owner have bashed him, and recently he threw our best wr under the bus. Jones Drew took shots at him as well.

The line in the third preseason game let Garrard get hit in just about every play, but when Luke came in against the same opposition with the same offensive line he didn't get hit once. Go to the jaguars.com forum and read the thread about it. He lost not just the coaches, but the players. He was complacent and no longer showed up early or stayed late. He quit on the team so the team quit on him and eventually fired him. You know you had to piss off a lot of people to just get cut instead of traded when you could still start for a few teams.

I'm not familiar with the situation 100% but I'll say this...

No matter what is said behind closed doors, or in the locker room, or on the practice field that we never hear...

Stringing a guy along through a whole preseason, then waiving him 6 days before the start of the regular season is sh!tty. Unless he was going around kicking people's dogs, I don't see any sort of justification for a move like that from a Front Office. They have intentionally made Garrard look like a pariah, and put him in a position to have difficulty no matter what team picks him up because most teams are already game planning with their current named starter.

Not to mention Garrard was there for several years and played well... this is a very disrespectful move by the Jag's FO if you ask me.

they had talked about and worked with leftwich as the starter for all of '07 and then the day that they were making cuts to get down to the 53 man roster they said they were going to either trade or cut him.

garrard started most of the games in '06 filling in for leftwich and did alright for the majority of them, but then lost the final games of the year.

they essentially went from one average QB to another. it's just the matter in which it was handled was questionable. iirc, it kind of blindsided everyone.
