negative. already had 2.

Yup, forgot about Fields until a few minutes ago, but by the look of it he's going or the staff really wants fresh bodies in the interoir at all times. Even if we do keep 5 instead 4, they are all in rotation and staying fresh, I'm all for it.

We've only activated 3 DTs while carrying 4 on the roster. I don't see how picking up more trash helps. So rotation is good and all, but if our team is significantly weaker while the rotational guys are in whats the point? I want guys that can be solid and dependable. Tired of Hurney signing super scrubs hoping they will change when they don't.

I think Rivera and Hurney are confident in McClain and Fua, and are bringing in the best scrubs they can to give them a breather every once in a while. We aren't on a superbowl plan this year, so they want the young guys to gain as much experience as possible. Bringing in a Pat Williams or a Tommie Harris is just going to take reps from young guys that need as many reps as they can get.

At least this is my way of rationalizing it.

I think Hurney is trying to get as much young "talent" on the team as possible for this year. Dumping more money into veterans is not the way to go.

We signed Edwards, who got injured, wasted money there. Both Beason and TD are gone, so that money is tied up for no gain.

Why continue to dump money into vets when there is a chance of injury, AND this isn't a year that is expected to be a playoff contention? I like the moves; get a bunch of young guys to play and learn this year, like Cam, and see what comes out of it. Cam is pretty much solidified, but other young guys and rookies need to be part of it as well.

The more young guys we get and train into the system, the more longevity we will get out of it in the long run.

Try looking more long term, rather than WE NEED BIG NAME NEEEEOW!!
