DT Marcus Harrison failed physical

It's not 2013 I'm worried about. Don't get me wrong, 5 wins leave me satisfied but I think by throwing these young guys out there with little direction on field, the potential is more likely to be buried rather than brought out. Yes, yes, I'm not a coach or whatever, but many coaches have done it before and it has predictably ended in disaster years down the road.

And coaches have done it and it ended with Pro Bowl and Hall Of Fame players.

It comes down to the player and the coaches

I'm sorry but we have to good of a roster to have to go thru 2 years of this.

You can't tell me that there isn't a FA DT and CB who can't come in and be a upgrade over what we have.

Couldn't agree more. Hopefully our FO and coaches are on top of it.

Bad news for us :(

Already signed a scrub. He'll probably be inactive week one.

Might wait till after week one for a more permanent solution like Harris or Igor.

Although he is no world beater, I wouldn't even mind if we brought Landri back for one year to use in rotation.

43 tackles with 3 sacks...he would be cheap...no long term committment...

We just need some people that can hold their own in a rotation while the young guys develop.

Me too, Landri or Tony Brown if Brown is healthy.

I don't understand why we don't bring him back unless he is injured. Sign him to a one year deal for vet min, I believe he would accept it because otherwise he would be getting paid nothing and unemployed. All I heard this offseason from the pros were Landri was a rotational guy not a full time starter and how he would be more effective as a rotational guy. Well now is the time for this and we are not doing anything about it. I am starting to wonder if we are tanking this season to get another top pick.

Sorry to say this, but the failures are way more likely than the successes.

True

But the successes have happened

Thats like there are more 1st round failures than first round Pro Bowl players

I agree it will be seasons down the road before we will know
