Fiametta is now a cowboy! and then is not a cowboy

I wish all players the best in regards to living out their dream & livlihood, but...really, what did Fiametta do for us? I feel it was another wasted draft pick (not his fault).

He was rated the top fullback in the draft I believe. I know he never was great but he wasn't horrible. I think Felton will be better though.

I am surprised this hasn't already been posted.

That's funny b/c someone posted in another thread about how Hurney drafts top rated guys who 'fall'. This is an other example of that. A GM should not get his info on players from draftnicks.

Fiametta just didn't live up to his draft position.

Was it the coaches? the system or the players fault for this? If he ends up doing well for the Cowboys what will everyone think?

I'm guessing that's hypothetical, but will answer anyway. It will show that our player development is/was lacking. Problem with HBs & FBs in this league is that there is no time/roster space for a FB to 'develop'. He was obviously not what Rivera wanted out of a FB for his system.

Absolutely nothing if Felton does well as most people believe he will. What some people fail to realize is that this is a different coaching staff that wants thinks and acts differently than the last one. They pick and choose their own guys. Some stay and some go

fiammetta didn't fall in the draft.
