David Clowney waived, yet Armanti makes the team again?

Well there is mo point making an argument strictly on preseason play. AE is almost a rookie again....as Fox's staff pretty much admitted they wanted nothing to do with AE's transition.

Neither would be a big factor this year.....only makes sense to keep the one with the most potential. and they did

If we excuse Armanti for last season because of John Fox, why not do the same for Jimmy Clausen who also received very little coaching according to reports?

AE was not a pro ready WR. He played QB in college. AE was given zero reps in actual NFL games. He and Clausen ultimately nothing in cmon in terms of heading into the NFL and reps once at this stage

yes, he's fast and has learned how to get open. Yes he can make people miss. Yes, those are things a player with athletic ability can learn. But he has hands like a frying pan and I've never seen anyone overcome that. His future is gimmic plays,

He tried to overcome his hands in the bengal game by catching aganst his chest but the ball still poped out except the one he caught low and that was caught in the gut.

Then you haven't watched much football.
