I think there was already room for him when we had a few cuts today, Brockel, Browning, Payne and Clowney were cut and I believe Jason Williams was as well. I believe those cuts freed up some room to get the free agents. Oh yeah almost forgot the Everette Brown waving freed up 6 roster spots. I believe they are all filled now with the 5 waiver claims and the signing of Giles.

We claimed 5 guys off waivers and cut 5 guys. We have not officially announced the signing of MJG, so we have not officially cut someone. We do not know who is going to be released to make room for him.

I just went back and watched him in preseason game 3. Observations:

1. He was never beaten by one of our defensive players.
   
2. If he gets his body on you, you are going in the other direction, i.e. backwards.
   
3. Not real athletic, so not the best at pulls or in open space.
   
4. Nice pass blocking.
   
5. No penalties.

People keep clowning on the Bengals and saying OMG I can't believe we are picking up the Bengals trash but we are the ones that picked first overall for a reason in April. And the Bengals o-line kept every one of their QB's jerseys' clean when we played them a couple of weeks ago too. This is a solid pickup.

Good way of looking at it. Also were the Bungles line that good or did our Defense suck that bad? I mean most of those players who were dominated were cut today or yesterday.

I go on other teams boards sometimes before we play them to get impressions of their team. They were all under the impression that OL was the strongest unit on the team. All young, but good a core that would be together for a while.
