Waiver wire action over

Makes you wonder how much homework Hurney had his guys do in advance for the waivers. You know there have to have been more guys than that who could unseat guys on our roster at this point. Will hope we get some UFAs for OL, DL & CB. All of these positions looked horrible during pre-season.

I would rather have young players but then again our team is young and needs all the mentors they can get. I also have a bad feeling about sigining some of these players because I can't help but think why did they get cut? and some of these players that were cut had been cut by another team weeks or a few months before so obviously something is wrong with them. I would love to see us pick up Tony Brown or Haye. I don't know if they have already been picked up but they would be nice to get. I also would like to see us pick up atleast one more CB. Hanson, Lee, or Cox would upgrade the position.

    • Saints and Seahawks both making a push for Cooper Kupp The Rams receiver has at least two teams that are very interested in signing him. According to The Athletic, the Seahawks and Saints are both making a push to sign Kupp. The Seahawks could certainly use another receiver after trading DK Metcalf and cutting Tyler Lockett. As for the Saints, they don't have a ton of salary cap space, so it will be interesting to see if they can meet Kupp's asking price, which is apparently around $13 million or $14 million per year.
    • The intent behind the question wasn’t bad, it’s just how he framed the question was kinda goofy. I’m surprised people like him can do media professionally when they aren’t good public speakers. I wonder what he gets paid to do this.
    • Running back Kareem Hunt is returning to the Kansas City Chiefs on a one-year contract worth up to $2.5 million, a source told ESPN's Jeremy Fowler on Friday.   He returns to a backfield led by Isiah Pacheco that also added former San Francisco 49ers running back Elijah Mitchell this week.   Hunt, 29, joined the Chiefs for his second tour with the team early in the 2024 season after they placed Isiah Pacheco on the injured reserve list. Hunt led the Chiefs in rushing with 728 yards and seven touchdowns. He also rushed for 117 yards and two touchdowns in three postseason games.
