Caplan still going on about him being Waived. I'm a bit shocked myself tbh, he hasn't had a lot of PT and lead the team in Success Rate on defense. That and considering he cost the team, I figured he'd get another season. They must want A. Brown and a player from waivers.

Big difference is that when Otah is on the field he's extremely effective, making it obvious when he's not out there. Brown at full strength is simply overmatched at his position. Not really his fault.

I was really hoping he would take the next step eventually but I guess that's just the way things go sometimes.

This is a really good sign that the organization is changing a bit, we aren't going to waste our time and precious roster spots on bad prospects.

Can't say I'm too surprised. Yes we gave up too much for him but let's face it, hes terrible. Time to move on. Maybe a 3-4 team will give him a shot and he can try OLB. He's simply not cut out for 4-3 DE in the NFL.
