I think Donnie Avery is the only WR we take a look at. He's a proven, young player, and that completely fit's Hurney's MO. If it's not him, it won't be anyone. Hurney made it clear the other night he likes our young WR's. I personally think we should look at Housh, but Hurney hates proven veteran players.

Even after jettisoning the first wideout taken in the 2008 draft, the Rams kept seven receivers. Avery's 4.4 speed appeared to be back this summer, while he hauled in six catches for 91 yards in the preseason. He shouldn't have a hard time finding a new home.

Avery would be a solid number 2 who looked like a solid number 1 for Bradford before he got hurt last year. He has had a great pre season. Rams fans are upset that they cut him.
