Free Agent Signings Thread

I dont believe we can actually sign anyone off waivers till 4 pm

free agent with over 4 years in the league we can at any time

I have a feeling were looking for young guys with some experience not old guys with lots of experience and looking for lots of money

How can anyone who was just released sit there and command a ridiculous contract? I hate that poo.

Lots of coffee being served at BOA me thinks. They have probably not slept since Friday night. Lots of research, game tape, phone calls, etc. Its great we have first dibs on any waived players, instantly upgrades us at many positions (which is sad to admit)

If we go out and sign some reject "up-and-comers" like we do every season, rather than getting some of the starter quality players on the market, I'm going to be irritated. We do this crap every season and it never works out. Sign some dang players who we know can play Hurney, instead of bringing in another one of your mystical "potential" projects.

Pats just signed Pro Bowl Guard Brian Waters, who should've been signing a contract with us two weeks ago. Instead, we will likely sign some 2008 2nd round draft pick out of of LSU, who had a lot of potential coming out, and the Huddle will overreact and get excited for a chump, and in two weeks the guy will be on his way to the bench and we will all realize why he isn't on a team in the first place. Of course by that time, all the decent players will be gone, and the RG position will a revolving door all season. Typical Hurney. Typical Panthers.
