Well, since Safety is a DB, it would be an easy transition. CB, however, would be much more difficult. Sherrod's learned the safety position over the last two seasons in the NFL. He's studied the tendencies of the position. Also, he's had to learn safety in a completely new system, where blitzes are constantly used.

The coverages are different, the looks are different, the zones are different. And he would have to learn this stuff during the regular season. Could he do it? I absolutely believe he could. But, he would be learning while playing in games that actually matter.

This just in, we're not winning the SB this year....I know it's painful but you have to accept it. We are rebuilding for next year or the year after. This year is all about getting pieces in place and teaching then next year we will be ready to make some noise. Why can't people seem to understand a lot of the moves being made are about the future not this season....

Well we found out about Stevie from his Twitter. Maybe the scrubs are excited to actually make a squad so they had to tell everyone.

The only hope I have in what we've done so far and who we've signed is that a couple of them are actually practice squad guys.

To not even address WR with upgrades out there is a huge mistake. Generally, despite what we all think, Hurney and the scouts know more about these guys than we ever could... That being said, for only like 1 out of 500,000 people to know who Josh Thomas is, that's not a good sign.

I knew we would go with the young guys and let them develop, but I thought there would at least be some name recognition. This is horrible so far.

People need to realize that these pickups not are lock to make the team. They have a one week audition and then after week one we can sign veterans without guaranteeing their contracts.
