Umm, DB would be an easy transition from safety. He used to play corner, he has the speed, has the size. Your not going to get anyone half that good from waivers or cuts. Also Pugh has done pretty damn well at FS when given the time.

At this point Cox would be the best talent we got today.

But I think its possible that Rivera wants some vets so he is waiting to get some experienced guys a la Cole, Hanson, Hangman etc.

Well we can pick up a starting CB still and cut Stanford so there is still hope. I just can't see us going into the season with Munnerlyn and a bunch of scrubs behind him. We will get torched all season.

Well, since Safety is a DB, it would be an easy transition. CB, however, would be much more difficult. Sherrod's learned the safety position over the last two seasons in the NFL. He's studied the tendencies of the position. Also, he's had to learn safety in a completely new system, where blitzes are constantly used.

The coverages are different, the looks are different, the zones are different. And he would have to learn this stuff during the regular season. Could he do it? I absolutely believe he could. But, he would be learning while playing in games that actually matter.

I don't think the waiver list is compiled and announced until 4 eastern, so maybe these are just a few ones that leaked out and all of our badass awesome claims will come later.

Still at this point I dont think that there is anyone on the huddle who would choose the waiver process today over the supermodel :D
