NFC South is the 4th toughest division.

It's hard to make a case for the south being the toughest division when you have the panthers (2-14) in it.

Also, i'm not sold on the Bucs being some great team. I think Freeman has tons of potential, however they had a cake walk schedule last year and won a ton of games by 3-5 points.

The Falcons and Saints both have question marks on defense and Atlanta's showing in the Divisional round last year does not help the case.

With that being said, I think this division is better than the East and equal to the NFC North. Week one should give a good indication of how the south stacks up against the North with the following games:

Saints at Packers

Falcons at Bears

Lions at Bucs

There is one team that finished dead fuggin last in the NFL last season which is possibly dragging down the NFC South's ranking. Just maybe.

This... we have to look through our homerisim. Carolina was the worst team last year, and projected to be the worst again this year. Looks like easy 6 wins for our opponets. Since we're 1/4 of the division we can't really complain until after we give people a reason to think otherwise.

Chicago finishes last in the NFCN.

Defense is getting old in the tooth. OLine is still a big problem. Cutler is ....well Cutler. And, they still have zero at WR.
