NFC South is the 4th toughest division.

I think Detroit is going to be much, much improved, I think Minnesota will be a little bit better and I think Chicago won't fall much, so that's why I think the NFC North is going to be good this year. However, if you think the Lions will be the Lions, Minnesota isn't going anywhere, and Chicago is primed for a collapse, then you've basically just got the Packers. I see Joat's point, but I think Chicago is going to have something to prove and if Martz doesn't break his players in two too often I think they'll be good.

NFC South, AFC East, AFC North.

I think that AFC East, AFC North, NFC North and NFC South are relatively equal. But based on last years performance, the top NFC north teams performed better in the playoffs than any of the other divisions. Both the NFC south teams laid an egg in the playoffs. Doesn't mean that things will be the same this year, but for now, I would have to say the NFC north is at least the best division in the NFC. Detroit is probably the best of the worst, Minnesota just needs a qb to be competitive, and Chicago made it as far as the NFC championship game last year. And they have the defending SB champ.

I think he's an egomaniac who ditched his team at a key moment in the post season. He's also a bit of a hothead and I just think that combination is going to lead to problems. Peppers, of all people, might actual take issue with it.

somehow I missed this post...

I don't think Cutler ditched his team in that game(aka I think he was actually injured and wasn't allowed to play/told not to) because his teammates came out to support him, even though the organization itself seemed to throw him under the bus the way they treated it. The fact his teammates stood by him tells me something, especially Chris Harris who isn't afraid to speak the truth even if it might hurt some feelings imo.

he may be an egomaniac but I'm not sure. I do know he and Olsen are best friends, and it seems like most of his teammates these days do like him... but I dunno, we'll have to wait and see.

Publicly his teammates are going to stand behind and up for him if they're worth a damn. There were early reports that some players weren't happy with him. If it were me, in that game, they would have had to drag my ass off the field. He put up no fight or argument and just sat on the bench like nothing ever happened. That's what caused the uproar and justly so, IMO.

I think you have to be an egomaniac to brag publicly that you have a stronger arm than John Elway, as if that's the key to success anyway. If also heard or pissing matches with him talking about how good he is. I obviously didn't witness this firsthand, but I believe the "where there's smoke..." adage has some merit.

NFCE continues to be overrated. giants and redskins are going to be pushing for a top 10 pick and redskins might have a solid argument for the #1 overall. what in the world have they done to improve that team? they have 2 shanny's too many for that team to go well and the team's FO is run like poo consistently.

dallas will do what they always do...fail to deliver. they are always irrationally overhyped. eagles are in boom or bust mode. that defense is going to get run over. still...they'll wind up in the playoffs.
