National Cam haters haven't watch Panthers

So now we have to put up with more of this run-first QB crap?

Cam has what, 4 or 5 runs this preseason, compared to 57 passes.

Wait, let me run to my game recording and study, I don't know, maybe Terrell McClain for several hours, so I can come on here and spout nonsense about why he will never be a player in this league. Why? Because I have some irrational dislike for the guy. After all, he is going to cause my favorite player to be cut, and we can't have that.

But yeah, I only do this out of my desire for the long term success of the Panthers.

Give me a break.

What you've described is pretty decent overview of a "Village Idiot's guide Huddle posting and trolling!"

Pretty good recount of how it works.

thoughts from albert breer i thought were interesting...

AlbertBreer Very interesting to see how Chudzinski employs Newton ... Guys get tagged as "college QBs", but too often it's a square peg/round hole deal.

AlbertBreer ... I'd like to see a coach have the guts to go all the way with an athletic QB, tailoring offense to him, rather than trying to change him.

You guys got to stop this mess! As Panther fans, we have reason for some optimism and instead we are micro analyzing every move Cam makes! I guess it is fair to say that all the critics started off in their own chosen professions making the perfect choice in every scenerio?

Things take time and confidence in his own decision making has to develop, however, if his plan B always gets us 15+ yards them dammit I am pleased as a fan! We all knew his passing would be a work in progress but at least he can sub out his learning curve with incredible gains with his legs!

And if I was smith then damn straight I would have been happy about that play.....we moved the chains and made something happen! His teammates love him and he has a lot to offer with potential to offer so much more. Will he get to elite status........I don't know, but let's all STFU about it for awhile and enjoy the ride! I think we will be ok as long as we expect him to be the rookie he is! 7-9 record this year will be outstanding IMO cause we still have a lot more work to do on both sides of the ball. But I don't think that means drafting a QB in the near future. Then again maybe he bombs, but he does have that winners "swag" and that's something that can't be coached........everything else can.

And for the record, I was so dead set against drafting him because I wanted to spend this past draft working on defense, but that's why I am an electrician and not a GM. Either way, he is my man now cause he leads the Panther offense and Im pulling for him hard.

We all have preconceived notions on any given player– If you don’t like a player, you are going to be more critical of that player.

If you didn’t like Cameron, you were critical and pessimistic. As the list of faults has dwindled, the remaining faults, whether real or imagined, are even more vehemently attacked. These people are actually attacking Cameron’s character, not his playing ability. If it were just his play, they would consider him a rookie with room to grow. However, because it is a character issue, they HAVE to believe he is a lousy rookie with no future.

Just my thoughts, and GOOOOO PANTHERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

All I see in that picture is a perfect pocket and a wide open Steve Smith.

You can play the what if game all you want.

I'll talk about what actually happened and how it was the wrong play, which I guarantee coaches will talk about.

As for the insults, meh. I expect them when people can't defend their opinions with facts.

Here is a fact: Cam Newton is a significantly better QB than you are an analysis of QB's.

    • Film Room Playlist _ NFL Pro — Mozilla Firefox 2024-11-25 10-20-11.mp4 🎯🎯🎯 There were a couple of "fans" yesterday saying that this wasn't a helmet-to-helmet shot... 👀 Looks like based on where Moore was and where the play ended, he'd have gotten maybe just a yard or two more. Chuba was downed at the KC 16 and Moore was on his way back to the QB, so the offense got what they could for the most part. After reviewing the all-22, Bryce made the right call here. Tremble was the hot and KC sent both LBs. He gets it out with a clear pocket but it's quickly collapsing. If there was a little more time it looked like AT came free at the end but whether or not Bryce would've been upright still is another story. Smart move to get the completion and keep the field goal in play to stay alive. George Karlaftis is about to get himself a big ole hug and Bryce heaves it to where David Moore is going. Trent McDuffie slipped just a step or two before this shot, but we can see the clear DPI here as he's wrapped around David Moore before knocking him over as the ball gets there.
    • I’m taking a TE early day 3 Ian Thomas and Tremble are FA.  We should have no desire to bring them back.   There’s more than enough film of ball bouncing off their hands or facemask.
    • Daniel Jones sometimes would sling it for 300 or 400 yards.  That's my stance.  We know what Bryce is.  If you consistently play any QB at this level, they largely are going to end up w/ some good days/games.  last time Mahomes was at BOA, Teddy Bridgwater threw for 300+ yards and a couple TDs and the Matt Rhule Panthers almost took him down.  We know what Bryce is.  Now we got people predictably falling into a predictable trap.
