You've always hated on Trent and he's a way better WR, PR AND IT man than AE . If you knew the whole deal you wouldn't spit out your bs sarcasm . Trent is the only receiver Steve Smith praised from this new group and wouldve made 53 last year if it weren't for his injury . My info comes from the team , not from what you so called football analyst put on here . You don't know poo !!!!!!

Hahahahha, not to mention the fact that I've never wrote anything hateful about Trent Guy in my entire life.

Yeah, a whole childhood of football and a whole season as a pro, not to mention most of the winter, all of the spring, and most of the summer, is not enough time to learn how to catch a football.

Your argument woud have more validity if you had said "learn how to be a wide-out", you know, things like crisp route running and using your body/angles. AE is NOT a natural receiver, and his hands are the ultimate evidence. But I suppose if we try to get that square peg in a round hole long enough, eventually we can force it in. The toy is never quite right again though.

Theres a big difference between catching a football, and perfecting catching a football so you don't drop the catchable ones, if you honestly think he should be able to do that with 1 year of experiance not to mention he didn't have hardly any in-game experiance last year....... your just being a hater and it's really pathetic you should be encourging him if anything.

Because pee wee players learn to catch like pro wide outs.

Almost makes you wonder why we even bother having useless stuff like Juggs machines and WR coaches.

Coaches coach technique, but they can't catch the ball for you. They can tell you to catch with their hands, show you how to run routes, etc., but the actual catching part is solely on you.

Juggs machines...lol. Jerry Rice learned how to catch because his dad would throw him bricks as he worked. Perhaps AE needs a brick machine. He better have extra padding on and a goalie mask.

Perhaps we can hire Freddie Mitchell's hands as consultants.

Nah you may not have written anything bad about Trent but when someone says something good about him or says he's better than someone else you throw out some bs sarcasm . So you might as well be writing something bad .

Re-watching the game right now and Armanti looks good to me. He actually looks like a legitimate wide receiver this game. Yes he is dropping passes but he is getting better as a receiver and he will start hanging on to the ball soon. Im proud of him to be honest, he has made real progress.

His hands will get better, I'm just more impressed with the fact that he WAS in the position to get those dropped passes. Something our WR's weren't able to consistently do all preseason.

Once he gets his hands down, he'll be on the right track.

Yeah, way to quick to pull the trigger on AE. Your looking at a young, highly athletic player who has had 1 year to change his game and try and play against NFL defenses.

You just can't expect the kid to come out and be perfect in all aspects of the game.

He has shown flashes, he is fast as hell, and is still learning. He is a project, and you have to give him time to develop. It's not like it was a secret or anything. Hurney didn't draft a 2nd round WR, he drafted AE.

Imagine the possibilities 2 or 3 years down the line. Cam Newton and AE could pan out to be a lethal combo. Time will tell.

AE is a 2nd round pick, so the chances are pretty good he will get at least this year. The better he returns punts, the longer he gets to become a quality WR.

That said, it does take a special quality to be a NFL WR. If it were easy.... Does AE have that? I have no idea. He is exciting on PR, but that does not automatically mean he can be a WR. I am rooting for him because I think he is a great athlete, and he is a Panther.

Like I said, I believe he has at least this year to keep improving. Unless we bring in a bunch of NFL ready WRs to bump him off the team. Who am I kidding, we ain't gonna do that.

If AE makes strides at WR my giddy will rise even higher. GOOOOO PATHERS!!!!!!!!!!!!
