I wish people stop making excuses for this dude . Nothing against him personally but he not cutting it . This is pre-season and he's playing against 2nd and 3rd string . What you think the 1st string gonna do to him ?

AE is making great strides. You can tell he's raw in a lot of areas but if you can't see the potential in him, you're blind. You can't teach speed and elusiveness. You can easily work on attacking the ball in traffic. Most college WR's take 3 years to really learn the NFL. Of all the positions it has one of the biggest learning curves from college to pro and people want to cut a guy with tons of potential who didn't play the position in college because in his 2nd year he's still learning the position.

A WR that has very weak receiving ability, but can get open and has great athletic ability is a waste. Give me a guy like Phroel, Jeffrey or Moose as 2nd reciever.

We've had rotten luck with second rounders. Jenkins being the last one to pan out. Even he had issue, but was a beast on the field.
