I don't think you people realize that this is his second year playing WR, and that this is still new to him just like everything else it takes TIME and EXPERIANCE to get the hang of catching balls in coverage.

He did exactly what he was suppose to during the off-season and that was working on conditioning and route running, he lacks in catching in traffic and running in traffic you can't practice that, you have to experiance that.... this guy has improved massivly from last year and in time he will be a starter in the NFL, The guy has talent.

Who has looked better than him at receiver in preseason? We throw to him more than anyone because he seems to get open. Yes he had some drops tonight....but they all were contended. I would have loved to see him hall in that little across route for the touchdown. Everything he does gets so much overreaction between both sides. He has a few good punt returns and we have the new Hester. He drops some tough passes and he needs to get cut.

Look I think Hurney should be fired for his recent draft day antics and the stupid contracts he was handing out in the offseason. But Kalil, Marshall, and Martin are all good starters. You don't need to embellish the facts to make your point.

He did drop a few but on the positive side he was getting better seperation then most of the others.I say give the guy a little time.

Well unless you honestly think this team is competing for a playoff spot this year than it might be worth picking up another receiver and dropping AE down a spot on the depth chart otherwise there is no real reason to not let AE continue to develop by getting game reps, especially considering the growth he has shown to this point.

which was my point of saying put him on the practice squad - can we really afford to keep a bunch of guys on the roster who arent producing , simply because they have potential? do we ever want to have a winning season again ?
