Have any laptops been stolen? Did he holdout? Is it taking him 2-3 years to become a starter?

None of those three had anything to do with why I didn't want to take him or why people thought we'd be better off going a position other than quarterback.

Most people knew the second we drafted Cam he'd be the starter. They knew before we drafted him that if we did, the likelihood of him starting was high. In fact, that's the crux of why so many of us were hoping we'd go a different position, because we felt we could have been more competitive this year and in the future with someone else. It wasn't that Cam wouldn't see the field at all for 2-3 years, it was that we'd be invested in a QB for 3 years that might not turn out well because he had so much to work on, when we could get an immediate, first-day-of-camp starter at a different position that would have shored us up there.

We still don't know how he will turn out, but I am a bit more comfortable with the fact he's starting after his first drive tonight as opposed to the last two weeks he's started.

I think you're confused about why many of the posters around here didn't want Cam, especially since I suspect that "only knew one thing" comment sounded like you were going to start spewing your usual BS.
