Brockel (I think it was) had a nice play, and I think hes officially a TE (though he seems like he also plays FB as some of them do)

but I do think Hartsock has a much better chance of making the team than he does.

If it was only on merit, Clowney and Pilares make it and Lafell doesn't. But it's probably too early to cut Lafell. Remember, Jarett got 3 years. Lafell will at least get 2.

Thomas Williams is a lock, IMO. Wonder if he makes Connor expendable if trade talks heat up?

pretty sure Lafell has done more than Jarett ever did, but that doesn't make him safe forever.

It does mean he's not going anywhere this year.

I think it almost has to if we're serious about bringing in a quality CB or DT after cuts are made (assuming there isn't a major pickup there ofc)

Not really comparing them except to say it's ridiculous to think he'll be cut this year, since Jarett was worse and lasted longer than this. But Lafell has been a disappointment this preseason.
