I would hope that's what we're talking to him about, not the weather, the birds and the bees, etc.

I want AB, but I still want Hardy to be the starter and see what he does with a full-year of playing time - he's gonna be a beast.

That being said, if AB came in as the 3rd guy, we'd be sick... Some people forget about guys like Al Wallace... The 3rd guy can make a huge difference, especially with the ability that AB has.

I think our talent at DT those couple years is what made guys like Al Wallace a legitimate threat.

Until we get a pocket collapsing DT, our ends are going to be doubled and neutralized.

The Alex Brown of old is not only better than Hardy, but better than Charles Johnson. I haven't followed him since he left the Bears, but he used to be a beast. Granted, it's extremely unlikely he'll play anywhere close to what he was as a Bear, but he'd be a great addition to the line regardless. And maybe it will let us get rid of Everette Brown, who knows.

Meh, we haven't seen enough from C.J and Hardy. He's never had a year like C.J last year though

yeah because we did not replace those hasbeens with talent. we are rebuidling remember so why bring in some who hasnt produced in years.

Still need some vet leadership on that DLine. Brown would be a solid guy in the DE rotation. Not the most pressing need (see DT and CB), but adding him over E Brown would definitely upgrade the line.

plus i was pissed about not resigning pep and trading CH for a bag of chips.

We tried to re-sign Peppers....it was out of our control.

Harris....I am torn on this. I think he is good against the run and is a great guy. But Martin/Godfrey are an upgrade in the pass defense.
