Your looking at this from a hindsight-results point of view.

Ok, let me put it this way...

Go back to the 2005 draft.

Look at where Aaron Rodgers was picked.

Now... look at all the picks above him. There are some solid performers picked above him. A number of Pro Bowlers.

And out of all the 23 teams that passed on them, the majority NEED a QB of his caliber right now. Many of them needed a QB of his caliber then, even some of them who drafted Pro Bowlers.

So were all 23 of those picks the "wrong" pick?

Well, if you look at the results. Yes. They were.

But if you consider the needs for the team, their situation at depth positions, the information at hand, and the draft picks they have made since... well... the answer to the question is probably "no", given those factors.

The point is, you can sit in your computer chair, and make all the evaluations on talent that you want. You can go back, in hindsight, and say that all these teams were stupid for giving up an Elite QB like Rodgers.... but you're being narrow-minded and not looking at the big picture.

The bottom line here, is that you argued for months why Cam wasn't even worthy of the #1 pick. You were wrong. Period. Man up and stop acting like the self-appointed football god. No one is right about this game 100% of the time.

Even IF Cam is the worst #1 Qb drafted, you're still wrong because it was the choice they made.
