I'll always remember when Stew broke off that big run (against GB I believe) and ran out of gas near the endzone. A defender caught him from behind and stripped the ball loose. Wharton jumped on it for the recovery, like 60 yards away from the LOS. That's some hustle for a big ugly.

But all in all, I'm very very glad we have him on our squad. Above average? Yes. At times dominate? Yes. Overpaid? Maybe, but I'd rather overpay for a solid LG than underpay for what ever we have at RG right now.

Yes, and I believe on the very next play he threw the big block that allowed Jake to waltz into the endzone. If he can clear a path for Delhomme to run a bootleg in for a score, he's vastly underrated.
