with Vick's running ability...I dont know if he will ever be a mid tier QB.....even when his passing skills were much worse than this he was the top tier QB...even though he was a lot faster

I completely disagree. In his early years where his legs were his biggest weapon, I would NOT have called him a top tier QB. Force him to pass and he was a liability to the offense.

The Eagles screwed up again. Watch Kolb develop into a top 10 QB in Arizona. That would be priceless.

You have a great point....just like everyone said they would, the Eagles are regretting letting McNabb go. You would have thought they learned their lesson after that.

The Eagles want to win NOW and had huge problems with defense. They adresses that and got DRC and a second round pick for Kolb who was going to walk away at the end of the year for nothing. Stupid Eagles, screwed up again!!!! I hope they start consulting you before they make these stupid moves.

I'm talking about the 100 million to a guy who has a history of terrible decision making off the field.

Super Bowl wins. Rams 1, Eagles 0. Points after this post...Meat 28, Rockets 0.

Vick is probably one of the safest people to have your team as far as off the field issues go.

Superbowl wins? My bad, I didn't realize that was the topic of conversation but when you have nothing on the current topic it is best to change the subject. Regardless, I can't argue the SB thing so you are right.

You hang on to your Superbowl win from over a decade ago. Hopefully that has been comforting you by week 6 each year when the only thing you have is the hope the next year will be better.

Signing Vick to this contract frees up money to sign DJax to a long term deal. Nothing could be done with DJax until the Vick deal was done.

Eagles are probably the most cap minded team in the NFL and no one does it better then them. Howie Roseman was hired by the Eagles over 10 years ago to do nothing but be a cap specialist and now he is the GM. He is a salary cap genius.

Giving an injury prone, aging, & declining Vick $40,000,000.00 guaranteed doesn't seem too smart. Also, he hasn't accomplished anything in the playoffs. Nevermind, neither have the Eagles. o_O

Another great point I can't argue...you win. Eagles haven't accomplished anything in the playoffs in the last decade...well, except for playing in 5 NFC Championship games and a Superbowl. Have they fallen short? Absolutely and it's not acceptable but is that accomplishing nothing?

And since signing Vick was not smart please tell me what the Eagles should have done in this situation Mr. NFL GM?
