I've been wanting one of these, way too expensive though. How much did you pay for it?

I got the 13" screen, the smallest option. I threw on some upgrade options, and purchased Microsoft Office and a case for the laptop itself. With tax, it was around $1700.

But Apple hooked it up with $100 gift card to their iTunes store, to get this I think you just have to somewhere show you're a student but you really just type in your school and it's that simple.

Get an external hard drive. It's good to have one anyway so you can back all your data up. The Seagate brand is better than Western Digital, IMO. Make sure you format in FAT 32, that way both files can be used on windows & mac.

I am on my 3rd Mac since 2006. I bought Apple Care for the first two and never had a single problem. I didn't buy it for my new one. It's going to explode :(
