Classy move by Jim Schwartz

Tom Kowalski, the longtime beat writer for the Lions (tough gig these days) passed away suddenly this morning. Don't know if you ever read any of his work at MLive.com, but he was a good one.

Kowalski always got the first question at Lions pressers. So today, in memory of his passing, coach Jim Schwartz started the question and answer period with a moment of silence, a time that would have gone to Kowalski. He referred to it as the first question going unasked.

For whatever you think of the Lions, Schwartz is one of the good guys. So was Kowalski (RIP)
