I like Haye and always have. If we wanted to get him in here as a DE I could see it. Maybe even a 3 technique tackle. But what we need is a nose tackle and at 277 he wouldn't fit the bill. Now if they were thinking about moving Balmer to the nose at 315 lbs, then Haye would be a good fit at the other tackle spot.

Yeah bring him back.. Sometimes its better for a player to go develop somewhere else and get the experience they need to become a good player... I like the DE option because EB just aint doing it.... inside pass rusher would be good too...

Keep in mind that a good 3-technique can be just as useful if not more useful than a NT if they can get penetration and therefore command double teams.

This is an improvement from what we have at the biggest position of need. He may have underplayed in Tennessee but he's totally worth it given our situation. I'm in support of signing him and asap.
