What is really our problem?

...and I understand and agree with the "build through the draft" philosophy, but I think we're relying too much on young players right now. It's not fair to expect two rookie DT's to be able to step in and play right away. It's also not fair to expect a handful of 2nd year WR's (who did not have the benefit of a full offseason) to be able to get the job done, and the combination of inexperienced QB + inexperienced WR's is a bad one.

We need to bring in a few more vets while the young guys learn.

Agree on the DT not so much on the WR. We do have Smith and brought in Naanee. We added two good TEs who will get quite a few catches. With increased catches from runningbacks, I am not sure the WR issue is that big. If Smith gets 30% of catches, the TEs get 30% and the runningbacks get 20%, that leaves only 20% for all the other receivers. How many veterans do we need for that kind of production??

The inexperience at Qb and unfamiliarity of everyone with the new system has made things appear worse than they are, IMO.
