newton could have a worse completion percentage and make more throws downfield in comparison to how Bradford just dinked and dunked all year coupled with some nice rushing yards and scores on the ground....

so yeah, realistically Bradford could have what appeared to be nicer passing stats while Cam was the better overall player.

No. Sorry I don't believe in the kid, I don't trust Hurney's ability to judge talent in the draft. I feel they reached for Newton. The kid is doing nothing to alleviate any concerns on his ability to play QUARTERBACK in the NFL so far.

I am not going to boo the kid or root against him, but no pledge from me.

I'm curious about not believing in Hurney's ability to judge talent. While I too am sickened by the Newton selection, and believe it set us back several years, isn't this the anomaly, and not the rule, when it comes to 1st round picks by the Panthers?
