Cam officially starting against pittsburgh

I'm just wondering, suppose you were a player on this team and you had seen the performance of Cam so far this year. Would you have confidence that your team could win with him? There is a difference between the effort and desire on a team that can win and one who you feel deep down cannot really compete no mater how much you want to.

No matter that it's not all on Cam he is the head of this team and therefor the confidence starts with him.

Or would you be like Gross and try to take him out through the back door?

I guess this brings up the question, does Rivera feel pressured to start Cam? I think most coaches would start Anderson at this point.

If, and it's a big if, Rivera is pressured to start only Cam or Clausen, I think that really sucks. I wasn't necessarily hoping Anderson would start for us, but I wasn't against the guy playing if need be. Yet it seems as though if you mentioned Anderson to Rivera's face, he would be shocked that the guy was even on the team. He knows the offense, had a probowl season with the offense, is a young veteran with a decent arm. When it comes to starting Anderson, in the words of one Herm Edwards........
