Just bought two Msi gtx 580 Lightning cards to replace my eVGA 285 ftw card. Got them for $369 each off Amazon brand new from a price mistake. Then I need to OC my i7 920 DO card. I'm a newb to this stuff so I hope I dont mess up.

id just take that to a computer shop and say put this in and theyll do it for like 30-40 bucks i imagine.

Wow. That's some serious video power. You need to make sure your motherboard has 2 PCI-E slots and just slap them in. Then connect them with a SLI cable that will come with each card(it'll be a short ribbon cable). I'm guessing everything will work from there, I've never done SLI/crossfire. You'll also want to make sure you have a power supply that has enough juice for both cards, they'll drain a lot of power.

Not sure what that means... You want to OC your CPU? That's just some bios settings.
