Wow, I've spent all day following everything and just realized we kept Jason Williams... Wow. I really liked him last year and know he was really athletic, but honestly, I didn't even know he was active on the team until the last game b/c I didn't think he would be back from the ACL that quick.

this is brown & norwood's make or brake year IMO. since neither are everydown players they both have to excel as pass rush specialist to be useful for us

I would imagine him, Payne, Keiser, Browning and Brockel will be among the first to go when we bring in new faces. Can't see 8 LBs on the final roster

We're not playing Foxball any more. There is no longer a need to have 5 RB's.

They are both decent players, but sometimes decent players get cut. After all, isn't that what we are counting on at CB, G, and DT?

We have DeAngelo Williams & Jonathan Stewart. That's a top 5 & top 15 NFL running back, in case you forgot. Then at #3 we have an NFL starting running back, talent-wise, in Mike Goodson.

Keeping Sutton and/or Vaughn makes about as much sense as having 2 back-up kickers for Mare.

I think we had to much of the same thing at rb ....maybe add a bruiser like the guy on the Steelers that burned us so bad .Rivera likes to add dimention at every position unlike Fox

Stewart doesn't count as a "bruiser"?

If D-Will can stay healthy then cutting Sutton wont matter much, but if he goes down early and with Stewart injury history it will bite us. And I have always been one of those guys that liked Sutton more than Goodson. He got fewer bigger runs but no fumbles which made him more consistent.
