PANTHERS CUT RECAP (so far): DTs Irvin, Hayden, Robinson; DE Chinasa, Tatum; LBs Ware, Wilson; CBs Burney, Wilson; K Kunalic; RB Sutton, WRs Adams, Morris; OL Pugh, Gianninoto, Bender. Also OL Williams to IR; CB Hogan to PUP. That puts the roster at 61 by my count.

amount of DTs isn't a shocker for me. still the weakest bunch and will probably be the group that gets the most attention from the WW.

Meriweather has 4 years and is a vested veteran, so he is a FA.

This brings back memory of the '07 draft when we were all thinking we would finally draft a safety. We traded our pick to the Jets presumably because there were 3 other safeties we would have a chance at before their pick. They then took Reavis and the safeties (Nelson, Griffin, and Meriweather) went before our pick. We had to settle for Beason. Thank you NE, Jackv, and Tenn for taking "our" safety.
