Maybe it's the USC homer in me but I really don't see Thomas Williams getting cut after the way he played during the preseason....

Martin had a rough Preseason.

Really fuged up some Special Teams play the other night.

Amidst the Cammania, the Huddle has completely overlooked that Pugh started ahead of Sherrod the other night, which I thought was very big news.

I'm hoping the staff already knew what they had in Wallace Wright and was giving the other guys some looks. The dude can play WR AND ST, and do both well, AND he's a fellow Fayettevillian, lol.

I believe I was the first to call a roster spot for him and made a thread about it, so obviously I'm a big fan... BUT, I can't help thinking "juiced" everytime I watched him...

It's just crazy that if he played like this on his prior teams that they would cut him. Also, I read that he wasn't regarded as being very athletic on other teams... Well, he certainly looked athletic to me.

Brandon Merriweather just got cut by the Pats... I fully expect us to put a claim in for him if he's healthy... I think we were pretty high on him when he came out of Miami.

I'm sure we would then drop Payne or Considine.

Sherrod didn't play the last two games because of a groin strain.

Surprised that Jamorris Warren and Andre Neblett made the team, though I guess one or both of them could still be cut assuming some free agents are brought in.

Sad about Sutton getting beat out by Vaughn but that's business, I guess.

I think Clowney will make the team especially with Pilares out for a while.

I think Jackson, Browning, Brockel, Smith, Greco, J. Williams, Wilson, Martin, Warren and Wright are gone. That's 10. Putting Hogan on IR would make it 11.

Hogan will be able to play this year. No need to put him on IR.

Thanks for bringing that light. I remember Steve Reed (I think) saying that Pugh had been making a push for Martin's job, and thought it had come to fruition.

Meriweather would be a nice addition, but I am not positive he is young enough for waivers, not to mention, the Pat's didn't just cut him because of a lack of talent-something else is going on.

We could put him on the PUP list. IIRC that wouldn't count him against our 53 and we would have 6 weeks to decide whether or not to put him on IR.
