on this note, we should start seeing some claims coming in as well with the deadline for the 53 man this evening at 6PM. Or can we submit a final roster of 50 ish and just claim in the next day or so?

I think Jackson, Browning, Brockel, Smith, Greco, J. Williams, Wilson, Martin, Warren and Wright are gone. That's 10. Putting Hogan on IR would make it 11.

Maybe it's the USC homer in me but I really don't see Thomas Williams getting cut after the way he played during the preseason....

With as well as he's played even a USC hater, like me, thinks and hopes he has earned a spot.

I get what Reed was saying, but I don't think we're gonna cut down past 53 until we actually put claims in elsewhere.

And recently, it's taken at least a day for us to hear who we claimed off of waivers... So, I think we're cutting down to 53 for today and then will make more cuts as needed once they put in claims for players.

Reed says he has heard Keiser, Pilares, Considine and Payne will make the roster, but I will believe that when I see it.

Of course, I just looked at roster and pulled out guys I thought might get cut. We don't know what the coaches are thinking in thinking in terms of numbers of players per position. I agree those are the worst players left on the roster though
