It's okay for Cam to have the same problems as Jimmy and not get poo on because criticizing Cam makes you a racist/hater/some other insult to attack your character as opposed to actually addressing the valid concerns presented.

How many TDs has Cam thrown so far this preseason?

Oh wait, he hasn't.

But its cool, growing pains. Not like the team went through that last season, or that the oline is in no way responsible for Cam completely missing receivers.

I wasn't aware that it was perfectly okay to more or less forfeit the season after being the worst team in the league. Get the fug out of here with that. Why is it okay to lose this season? We already dealt with that ignorant garbage last season when people were betting their kids' college savings on Luck.

Cam is a Panther and I am going to cheer for him as loud as I can, but to sit here and pretend that he has performed well or at the very least satisfactorily is about as stupid as any post made by KT.

The offensive line can definitely make him miss open receivers without him getting his feet set, or rushed will make QB's make erratic throws, and especially him being a ROOKIE. The offense isn't built around Clausen it's built around Cam.

Icege is butthurt. He's upset Jimmy isnt our starter, even after we gave him 10 starts last season and he performed poorly. Icege thinks its fair to judge Cameron after 3 preseason games, but doesnt think its fair to judge Jimmy after a season of bad QB play and a so so training camp. Icege isnt patient enough to give Cam Newton 10 regular season starts like he gave Jimmy last year. Icege believes in Jimmy's entitlement, despite his poor play. Icege is one of the many idiot fans we have in our fanbase. Another Cam Hater forced to root for him. Its tragic. LOL.

Don't speak ever again. You're making yourself look like an idiot.

These "QB Evaluation" threads are getting tired... so many of you with knowledge of what it takes to be an NFL QB. Based off of what, years of watching> maybe even the occasional d 1 third stringer? I challenge the huddle to produce a poster worth of an NFL start at QB.

Cam is trying to learn this poo, ON THE FLY. I know we love caps, really draws that attention. Remember that whole under center thing that Cam was going to struggle with when we, here at the huddle, were talking about drafting Nick Fairley. Remember Cam sitting down with Gruden, talking about never having to call a play, and that being an issue? Please people, acknowledge the fact that the kid is learning. "Oh, I expect more.." You don't know poo about what is truly going on and if you going to write you're number one overall pick off in the preseason, you may as well start pulling for the Falcons now.

We all want Cam to catch on soon than later, but consider me(one of the few it seems) that just hopes he can catch on. Did I hope he could be better? Sure. But am I surprised by his struggles, especially considering the struggles of the team in general? Absolutely not. Nay sayers, get a grip, we aren't good, and its going to be a pain to watch us groom a project QB. But there is no denying the ability of the guy, and some(myself included) who can see some positives.

If you think the QB position is our problem now then you haven't been paying attention to the games. We resigned a bunch of pro bowl caliber players and it is time they start earning their paychecks. I have not hit the panic button on our Oline yet, but they need to wake the fug up. Last year I gave them a mulligan because of the coaching staff - I expect large holes for Double Trouble to pound through. If our run game gets going, Cam will look like a pro bowl QB. If you doubt this rewatch the Bengals game - Dalton's success was all attributed to their run game.

Stop trying to use logic with all the critics. They think they are just excuses and want to blame everything on a rookie quarterback before we even get out of the preseason. The same guys who were saying not to draft newton because he wouldn't be able to play for 3 years and now the same ones criticizing him after 3 weeks. You can't argue with stupid and it just reduces you to their level when you try.:D

I agree 100%

only thing I would add it - Dalton's success was all attributed to their run game and the fact his team prevented Carolina from allowing any type of pressure being put on him when he did throw. Cam mechanics looks night and day when there is no pressure vs pressure.
