The Sad Thing About Monday Night...

You should stop using it, then.

Indeed. When watching our boys on Sunday I fall back to that old time saying 'Hope for the best, prepare for the worst.' I don't expect us to put up those stats every week, but I expect us to play that hard. As been said, our O-Line is starting to gel and we are healthy this late into the season, which is great, that (as we all know) could be a huge factor given a key player goes down. I think they lit the fire at Green Bay and now they're fanning the flames, let's see if they can keep putting wood on it.

Jake had a 75 passer rating with two picks and one TD?? Our running game picked up the slack but what am I missing here? Did something happen in that game that was unusually positive?? Our defense gave up easy pass completions and stopped the run...if anything I think that we should improve from this game. Especially with Jakes consistency and our defensive play.

Thought you may have meant the Jets. My bad.

There is virtually no way the Panthers can play on the same high level for Denver and the final two road games, and even if they did, the week off would kill them in the playoffs.

Best case scenario for Panthers fans....team escapes with ugly win versus Denver, ekes out slugfest versus the G-Men and then wins a wild and wacky finale versus New Orleans where Smitty goes crazy or something like that, giving opposing d. coordinators two things to concentrate on at the same time.
