Hundred year anniversary of the discovery of Machu Picchu is this year. I'm leaving tomorrow morning for Fort Lauderdale, catching a flight to Lima later in the afternoon, and hiking through the Andes Mountains with my brother-in-law, father-in-law, and a good buddy of mine. The trek is four days at roughly 15,000 feet, and culminates at the legendary Machu Picchu.

we didn't even hear about this until a few minutes ago, just finished the first three days of the trek through the andes, we were 12-15000 feet up and deep inland so we didn't feel anything. thanks jr
