Jerry Richardson to Cam: No Tattoos, No Piercings

I've always felt that if someone is investing millions and millions of dollars into a single person, they should have the right to tell them how to present themselves. You are representing a billion dollar organization. Hell, a lot of restaurants don't let their servers have facial hair/tattoos/piercings.

That's why I always laugh when I see someone with an ugly neck tattoo or a bright sleeve....they obviously don't care about advancing in life and making money.

Mr.Richardson is fully within his authority and right to ask Cam to keep it clean.

Tattoos are fine if you can cover them up in the line of work you choose.

Being the face of a conservative NFL Franchise? Not a good choice.

Working in the corporate world and having sleeves? Fine, because it's covered from 9-5. Neck tattoos? You better be a tattoo artist, musician, or career criminal because you can't be much else.

Yeah sleeves and what not are easy to cover up, but I still wouldn't recommend having one. I'm not judging anyone with tattoos but I think a majority of them are trashy and unnecessary.

But if you get a neck tattoo you basically are limiting your job to being one of four things

It's not about the piercings, the tats, a rap album, any of that other bullshit. It's about the man. When you listen to Cam speak, you can tell he's intelligent, knows what to say and how to say it. He's got the million-dollar smile and is a freak of nature athletically. Instinct tells me this guy isn't going to transform himself, because he has a personality. Peyton Manning has a great personality to go along with his talent. Donovan McNabb has a great personality that got him great endorsement deals.

The men of the game with real personality will always rise above the players making more of a name for themselves because of a facade.

I wouldn't want anyone representing me that looks like he is about to rob a game of dice in the projects or rob a meth lab in the trailer parks.

Damn bro, white people have nasty tatts as well.

stereotype much?

*adding "or rob a meth lab in the trailer parks" at the end of your statement would have made your statement acceptable by todays standards. Now you are gonna have to have a beer summit.*
