Jerry Richardson to Cam: No Tattoos, No Piercings

Wow this is a much bigger topic than it should be. JR may have worded it oddly, but if anyone seriously thinks we would cut/trade Cam if he got a tattoo tomorrow they are delusional.

Most people talking about it probably didn't even see the interview where he said it. They take things out of context and run with it. He likes that Cam has no tattoos or peircings, and likes his fade haircut, and wants him to keep it that way. He never said he couldn't do it. My grandma has a look of disappointment every time she sees me with a new tattoo also.

JR giving Cam advice isn't a bad thing. Telling him that he is the face of the francise and that changing his appearance could turn people off isn't untrue. Cam is a young guy who just got more money than he knows what to do with. JR stepping in and giving him some business advice is something I would consider Cam fortunate to get. JR has an investment in Cam, but so does Cam.

If JR was racist why draft cam? Why hug Cam? JR doesn't like tats he said "I hope you don't get tats" then explained why he thought that.

He probably hates shockeys tats but understands it comes with the personality.
