SF has been very weird this offseason post Harbaugh hire, despite drafting Kaepernick I think he's trying for Luck. Why else would you bring Alex Smith back?

they felt Alex Smith was better than most veterans available and maybe could turn it around, or so they said.

honestly last year seemed less alex smith and more coaching, but he's not a very good QB either way it seems.
