Ok we get it, Smith tanked the season. Rookies do struggle soo watch your back Cam.

Thats where we'll see what he is. If he's gonna be a true leader even as a rookie he's gonna have to handle smith. If he is the real deal he, not smith is going to have to be the dominant personality on the team. Yeah, it's a tall order but that's what the team hasn't had. And yes, his play must improve.

Smitty didn't tank anything. Smith, LaFell, Gettis all looked better when Clausen was on the bench. Clausen just sucked the life out of both sides of the ball.

Clausen didn't suck for a rookie like Cam should. He was much worse than anything I have seen in the last 20 years.

Lots of established guys sat out last year and I don't blame them one bit, especially DWill.

No point busting your ass and risking injury when your owner doesn't care about winning, he cared about his pockets and you should care about yours.

cyberjag actually did a breakdown of this and it showed that lafell and gettis still had decent production in terms of yards and catches and what not with clausen, the problem was a lack of TDs... smith, though, well, there was a gigantic decline from moore to clausen..

Well we were talking about Smitty giving more effort with QBs he liked, aka Cam.

I argued he gives effort as long as : A) We're winning or B) He's putting up numbers

He gave effort with Jake, Moore, and looks to be doing so with Cam.

You said he wasn't a cancer on 2009 when Jake collapsed and I pointed out that once Moore replaced Jake, his numbers jumped.

With Jake: 4.2 Catches per game, 54.9 ypg and .36 TD per game

With Moore: 4.8 Catches per game, 94.5 ypg and .75 TD per game

It's supporting evidence to an argument rather than whatever it is you do.
